Our network of 155 women’s funds touches almost every corner of the globe – from New England to Nepal. Directing Your Investment
Investments of $1 million or more can be given to a single Women’s Funding Network member fund, several member funds, the Women’s Funding Network or a combination of your choice.

Making a significant investment in women and girls is a life-changing experience. To optimize your experience, you can choose the type of gift that is right for you. Based on a dialogue with your women’s fund beneficiaries of choice, many options are available, which may include:

Cash
Publicly traded securities such as stocks, bonds and mutual fund shares
Unencumbered assets that can be immediately liquidated; for example, real estate
Planned investments such as bequests, IRA or retirement plans, life income arrangements, charitable lead annuities, Unitrusts or life insurance policies

Where Your Money Goes
Your gift to the women’s funding movement is a catalyst for positive change for the world’s women and girls. And while every fund is independent, they share similar values. Women’s funds embrace diversity as a living value; they prize collaboration in strategy, grant-making and problem-solving; and act as go-to institutions for questions, resources, ideas and actions about women and girls. They also share similar grant-making priorities. Over 80% of grants made by women’s funds flow to women and girls in poverty. Globally the shared top priority of women’s funding is economic justice. Other areas of focus include gender-based violence, health, education, empowerment, human rights and reproductive rights. Membership of the Women’s Funding Network includes public charities, funds within community foundations and other larger foundations.
